Our Story

Taylor has been passionate about skincare and beauty products for as long as she can remember. Not casually, but the real deal: reading ingredient labels, trying new brand launches, and genuinely loving the process of helping friends put together routines that actually work for their needs. If you've ever asked her "what should I use for this," you already know she’ll have you set up to glow and for your skin to thrive.

What she never loved was body lotion. Face routines get all the attention, but the skin everywhere else often gets the abridged version. The vision for Lazy Lotion started with a regular weekly phone call to catch up with her sister, Danielle. It’s not at all uncommon for them to discuss fashion, beauty, and hair, and on this particular call, Taylor mentioned wanting to become more diligent about her full body skincare routine. Despite being blessed with healthy & smooth skin (Thanks Mom, & Dad!) she knew the importance of building and maintaining a routine consisting of high quality ingredients to ensure proper moisture and to aid in healthy and well maintained skin for the long haul. Jokingly, she said to her sister, “I wish I could just spray it on and be done,” and with that simple statement, the idea behind Lazy Lotion was born. 

Soon after, she got to work researching healthy & natural ingredients, delicious scents, and color combinations to bring everything together. She spent hours outside of her 9-5 steadily bringing her vision to life, creating small sample batches, slowly perfecting proportions, and blending the perfect pigments for each creative scent.

And because Taylor loves smelling as good as her skin feels, Lazy Lotion isn't boring either. Every batch blends real essential oils and fragrance into scents that are actually fun to wear. For those who prefer true simplicity, The Lazy Lotion line includes more understated and clean options such as, “The Least”, an unscented blend of natural oils and raw cocoa butter for easy, no frills hydration and care.
